This weeks question: "What is the one bookish thing you would love to have, no matter the cost?"
My Answer:
haha I was just joking about this to some friends yesterday. What I want more than anything is to have a credit card that I can buy anything book related on it and to have SOMEONE ELSE pay for it. Book related things could be paying for gas to get to a signing, books, remodeling a room to make myself a library and so on.

This weeks question:
If you have, or would have a daughter, what book would you want your daughter to read?
My answer:
Well, I don't have a daughter, but my future kids will read Harry Potter. HP is one of those series that can get even the most reluctant of people to become obsessive readers. Plus I think it teaches kids great things. It's all about love and loyalty.
If you decide to follow my blog (and you should cause it's awesome! haha) make sure to leave me a comment saying that you are. I always follow back :)
Just stopping by your blog through Follow Friday. I think Harry Potter is a great choice for your pick.

ReplyDeleteI'd let my daughter read HP too probably, it's just one of those amazing series everyone should read.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE the idea of that credit card, lol. And HP is definitely something my kids are going to read (when I have kids, bit young for them now). I'd really love for them to discover the magic of that world.
Hope you stop by my hop
P.S I loooove the book quotes in your sidebar. Very, very awesome. Especially the Cicero and Abundance of Katherines ones.
I love the idea of a reading related credit card that someone else would pay for! That would open up so many possibilities...
ReplyDeleteNow that is a hot answer. Book credit card and you don't have to see the bill.
ReplyDeleteI'm already a follower.
Here is my post.

Thanks for stopping and following my blog! I'm now a follower. I would love to have a credit card like the one you described! It's very dangerous when I go to any kind of book sales, which is why I tend to go to my public libraries where books are less than $5. LOL!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
omg i love the credit card idea it`s inginieous lol great blog i follow XD
ReplyDeleteplease check out my blog mayabookalot.blogspot.com
When I used to order books (for the public library, as a librarian) I guess I felt a little bit like that... like I was ordering books I liked on someone else's dime. It was pretty awesome, believe me!
ReplyDeleteTo be fair, I took the responsibility pretty seriously, and I made sure to back up all my purchasing decisions with statistics -- how many requests made indicating current demand for the book, and so on and so forth.
Hopping by from Follow Friday. I am following you and would love it if you follow me back at OpenBookEmptyCup.blogspot.com.
ReplyDeleteThanks:)
Hey, just stopping on by and now following you :)
ReplyDeleteI think that credit card would be the most awesome card ever!
