I did not know that they were moving this fast on this movie. I knew they had cast everyone but had no idea they were pretty much done filming and that we are this close to the release date already. I never ever hear updates about it so it was kinda shocking to see that the first trailer has been released!

While I love that Emma Thompson and Jeremy Irons will be in it, what in the world is up with the Ethan pick???? Seriously???? Bleh.

Butttttt the trailer still looks pretty awesome.

'Divergent' movie has a release date!

It's been announced, Divergent will be hitting theaters March, 21, 2014!!!!

This news is super exciting for me. I can not wait to see who they cast. Normally I'm pretty nervous about casting for my favorite books, but I figure they can't mess up casting any more than they did for the Mortal Instruments. Now I'm just excited to see who they will cast as Four (I'm hoping for Darren Criss *crosses fingers*) and I dunno who I want for Tris. Maybe an unknown.

"The Host" by Stephenie Meyer Movie Update

I know that a lot of you know that The Host is being turned into a movie. The news has been floating around the web for a few years now. Well, they are finally getting a move on it and started filming last month.

I'm actually pretty surprised by who they picked for this movie, but not disappointed at all. I'm pretty excited that Jake Abel is Ian even though he couldn't possibly be farther from what I pictured Ian looking like. Same with Max as Jared. But those two are definitely my favorite cast picks.

Daniel Radcliffe's new movie trailer

My future hubby (hahaha don't I wish?) is in a new movie that comes out in Feb 2012 called The woman in black. The teaser trailer just came out and oh man, it looks soooooo good! Look how gorgeous Daniel is in it! *swoons* When it comes to Daniel Radcliffe, I have to see all his movies and post about them.

Anyone else really excited for February now?

Movie interview with Suzanne Collins and Gary Ross

I was honestly really shocked by who they picked to play Peeta and Gale for the Hunger Games movie. Josh is actually really starting to grow on me as Peeta though. And I have a lot more faith in the movie after reading this article. I'm glad that Suzanne is involved this much in the movie making.

Boo to the Hunger Games cast!

Today both the cast picks for Gale and Peeta were released. Josh Hutcherson will be playing Peeta and Liam Hemsworth will be playing Gale. Jennifer lawrence was already cast as Katniss. Click here for the article.

Personally, I'm very disappointed in who they picked for both Peeta and Gale. I was hoping for Jeremey Sumpter as Peeta and Adam Gregory as Gale.

So I've been looking around at a lot of Hunger Games sites now that this news has been released. Some people are saying that Susanne herself got to pick out the cast. This almost never happens. The only other time I remember the author having an actual say in who played in her movies was JK Rowling and she still didn't have much say.

So in other words, does anyone know if Susanne actually got to pick out the cast? Cause I know she is writing the script. Maybe she does have a little more say in how her movie goes.
