Have You Ever...

Have you ever just looked at your tbr pile and feel overwhelmed? I have so many books I need to read staring at me all the time. I never know which book to read because there are so many to pick from. It makes me not want to really read any of them but instead read some of my old favorites. Ones I've read many times before. Ones I love and could read hundreds of times and never get sick of them.

This is why I have a real lack of reviews lately. I've been trying to fight the urge to reread other books but all that is happening is that I'm just not reading at all. So instead I'm going to cave and reread. I'm starting with Nevermore by Kelly Creagh. It's a very Halloween appropriate book that I just adore.

I'm trying to go and write some of my older reviews and post those. Ones that should be coming up soon are...
The Beyonders by Brandon Mull
Fins Are Forever by Tera Lynn Childs
Iron Knight by Julie Kagawa (I thought I'd posted this review over a month ago, oops)

And loads of other reviews.

And because I'm rereading Nevermore, I'll post this picture I found on Kelly's fb page. It's the dress she gave Isobel for the big party at the end of the book. Isn't it lovely and perfect? I want it!

  1. Oh my god that dress! Bookmarking for when I go bridal gown shopping :)

I've been having some trouble reading, too. I've been forcing myself to read the reviews books that have deadlines, but besides that I can't really get into anything. So instead I've been rereading old favorites too- Harry Potter.

  2. Beautiful Dress! WOW.

I've been like you this past week - i have so many books to read that I don't know where to start so I just haven't been reading as much. I'm trying to get back into it but it's hard.
Hope you can get through. :D

  3. I often look at my TBR pile and get overwhelmed. I have over 100 e-ARCs that have collected over the past year, and while I'm slowly making my way through them, sometimes I despair of ever being able to do them all the justice they deserve. There are just so many! And it can make it really hard to decide what to read because so many of them need or deserve my attention, and there are only so many hours of the day that I can devote.

Won't stop me from trying, though! :)

  5. In a word, yes. Always. Something that helps me is I keep my TBR in a list instead of in a pile. Even so, I will sometimes get too many out of the library and then have no idea where to start. By choosing one, then you are inherently NOT choosing another, and that's just too hard sometimes. So yeah, good luck with that =)

In the meantime, good choice for reread, I loved Nevermore! And yes, that dress is gorgeous =D

I love getting comments! I'm always checking to see if I have any new comments. It's actually pretty sad how often I check for them really. So if there is anything you want to say about a post of mine, please say it! I want feedback :)

As of lately, I'm making the blog a no-award blog. I love getting them and I'm always honored, but I don't have the time to do all the things that are required of them. Sorry :(
Also, my "reply" button does not seem to be working in my comments on my computer. I have to use a different computer to reply back so if I don't reply, it's not because I'm rude, it's just that I can't.
