Blog hop and follow

Book Blogger Hop
Book blogger hop is hosted by Crazy for books

This weeks question:

If you could physically put yourself into a book or series… which one would it be and why?

My answer:
Harry Potter. Duh. But I'd be a witch and NOT a muggle.

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee

This weeks question:

Inspired by the inane twitter trend of #100factsaboutme, give us five BOOK RELATED silly facts about you.

My answer:
1. I always keep a list of the books I want to buy in my purse. I also have little notes on it saying if I can get it at the library or not.

2. I also keep a list of all the Agatha Christie books and all the various titles in my purse. I mark down which ones I have or are missing (I'm only missing five now!)

3. I prefer paperback books cause they are easier to hold.

4. I become obsessive with my favorite books. I have to tell everyone I know about them.

5. I fully believe in the saying "you can never have too many books."

I'm going through and adding labels to all my old posts (all 280 of them. *grone*) and for some odd reason some of my old posts have decided to repost themselves under todays date. So here are posts that are up this week on my blog.

Reviews:
Forgive my fins
Beastly
The Deadly Sister
Just One Wish

Other:
Book Boyfriend-- Steve from Just One Wish
Book I gave up on-- Before I Fall
Top Ten Tuesday-- Book pet peeves

  1. Me too! And, just like you, I'd have to be a witch. Why jump into a story unless your going to go all out?

I really enjoy reading your posts - I'm a new follower & look forward to your future work.

    Take care & happy reading,

  3. Hiya! I am your latest follower and it would be super-awesome if you came over to my blog to follow me too.

I love my NookColor because it's the easiest to hold and to read and I got an awesome Oberon cover for it and now it's even better to hold. I love the feeling of the tooled leather in my hands and it's so thick and sturdy that I can easily hold it from any angle too (which wasn't possible with the first cover I had for it). Anyway, enter "Oberon" in the search box on the top left of my blog if you want to see the cover I got. It's really pretty. (^_^)

Ttyl and I hope you're having a fabulous start to your weekend!

  8. Apologies in advance for my answer this week as it will not immediately resonate with the book blogger population which happens to be 99.5% female.

My choice is a book series geared towards guys which won’t enthrall the vast majority of my fellow book bloggers (who are almost entirely female) with the extensive discussion of powerful weapons and sexy milspec gear, beautiful women, eye-popping action sequences (with occasionally obscene violence), and the like.

But there IS something in my answer that just about everyone of the female persuasion can benefit from my decidedly “books for guys” post. Hop on over to http://www.howardsherman.net to find out what it is.

    Happy Hop Friday!

I love getting comments! I'm always checking to see if I have any new comments. It's actually pretty sad how often I check for them really. So if there is anything you want to say about a post of mine, please say it! I want feedback :)

As of lately, I'm making the blog a no-award blog. I love getting them and I'm always honored, but I don't have the time to do all the things that are required of them. Sorry :(
Also, my "reply" button does not seem to be working in my comments on my computer. I have to use a different computer to reply back so if I don't reply, it's not because I'm rude, it's just that I can't.
