Hop and Follow Friday!

Book Blogger Hop
Blogger hop is hosted by crazy for books.

This weeks question: "If I gave you £50 (or $80) and sent you into a bookshop right now, what would be in your basket when you finally staggered to the till?"

My Answer:
Hmm this was kinda a toughy.
*Bite Me by Melissa Francis (I've been searching for this book and can never find it)
*Cryers Cross by Lisa McMann
*The Vespertine by Saundra Mitchell
*Afterlife by Claudia Gray

Those are the books on my "want to read list" that my library doesn't have.

This weeks question:
who are You the Boy/Girl, instead of You the Blogger?

My answer: I'm Ariel (a girl), a 21 year old college student. I'm majoring in English Lit and minoring in studio art. I hope to one day own my own book store/ tea parlor. I'm obsessed with animals and own a border collie and two cats. I want more animals but can't have anymore :( Besides reading and art, I love going to concerts, the beach, and obsessing over my celeb crushes.

If you decide to follow my blog, please leave a comment! I want to be able to follow you back.

  1. I just read The Vespertine and I loved it. What an amazing book.
I'm looking forward to Hourglass... I'm finally all caught up on that series, and now am just waiting for the latest Claudia Gray book to come in my library.

  3. Hopping through. I would love to have a bookstore/tea parlor some day! My friend and I used to plan to open a bookstore/bakery.

  4. Cryer's Cross was good, but I haven't read any of the others. I will get to Claudia Gray's series one day.
I love animals too and we have 2 border collies!

  5. Wow! What a great question this week. I always peek at other people's book piles at the checkout link at B&N. That doesn't make me a voyeur, does it?

The exhibitionist in me has posted my own bookstore shopping list -- and it's not as predictable as you may think!

Hop on over to my blog for all the suspense and chills of my TBR list - http://www.howardsherman.net

  9. I've been iffy about Vespertine. It's got such a pretty cover, but I made the mistake of reading a couple of negative reviews. I like the look of The Ruby Notebook, though. ;)
Thanks for the follow. I'm returning it.

I love getting comments! I'm always checking to see if I have any new comments. It's actually pretty sad how often I check for them really. So if there is anything you want to say about a post of mine, please say it! I want feedback :)

As of lately, I'm making the blog a no-award blog. I love getting them and I'm always honored, but I don't have the time to do all the things that are required of them. Sorry :(
Also, my "reply" button does not seem to be working in my comments on my computer. I have to use a different computer to reply back so if I don't reply, it's not because I'm rude, it's just that I can't.
