This weeks question is: "How do you spread the word about your blog?
(e.g. Social Networking sites, Book Blog Directories, comments on other blogs...)"
My answer: I started blogging because a few of my friends were already blogging and I went with them to a author interview. I decided that I read so much anyways, I should start writing reviews and get my thoughts out there. But from there I had no idea where to go and get followers. After awhile I found the hop/follow, then a few other book related sites. Got the word out that way. Comment, comment, comment on other blogs. Really can't stress that one enough. I also go to lots of author signings and chit chat with fellow book fans there. Spread the word around with the other bloggers. I always love meeting other bloggers at book signings.

ReplyDeleteHappy HOP! I totally agree that the best way for people to get to know you is through commenting. I mainly do the weekly memes and visit all the blogs on the link list. Its gives me the chance to say hello and what each blogger is up to. People see me and hopefully come visit in return. So far it's been alot of fun :) Happy reading.
