This weeks question:
Q. Talk about the book that most changed or influenced your life (was it a book that turned you from an average to avid reader, did it help you deal with a particularly difficult situation, does it bring you comfort every time you read it?).

My answer:
I have a feeling that my answer is going to be a really popular one this week. Harry Potter changed my childhood and started my love of reading. After a few years, I wasn't reading nearly as much anymore. Then my sister got me to read the Twilight series and I fell madly in love with reading again. I started reading everything I could get my hands on. This was 3 years ago now and I haven't stopped reading. It has become my addiction. It along with my art, is what helps me get out of my moods and motivates me to do anything at all. I owe JK Rowling and Stephenie Meyer a lot for changing my life. They ignited my love for reading and have changed my hopeful future. My love of reading is motivating me to start my own bookstore. It's given me goals for my life.

It's been a long time since I've done a FF and I'm glad to be back! yay! One rule I try to follow is if you follow me, I'll follow you back. Please leave a comment if you decide to follow me so I can make sure to follow you back :)

  1. Hi! I'm a new follower from the hop.

And how exciting! Congratulations on making such an important decision and I applaud your dedication to literature! I've always wanted to own my own bookstore too. I wish you all the best!

And I absolutely agree with your choice with Harry Potter. The entire series moved me to try my own hand at writing. A dream come true for me. :-) Thanks for sharing tonight. I'm so happy you joined the FF this week. :-)

    Have a fabulous weekend!

  2. I totally agree with the whole Harry Potter thing! I don't even think of them as books anymore, just like an amazing world I can delve into:p And I do have to admit Twilight did sorta open up the paranormal genre for me!

    New follower:D

  4. 1) I must say that I love your blog! Several of my faves are represented right here, and it's slightly awesome. :) 2) HP and Twi are popular this week! I had to go back further in time to answer this question, which you can read over at Fuzzy.Coffee.Books if you like! 3) I shall be following you from now on, because clearly, you are awesome. :)

  5. Yup, definitely popular ^_~ I read this a couple of times on different blogs. I have a lot to say about it, but I'm too lazy *sheepish grin*

  6. Harry Potter and Twilight just made me read me than I already did (which is really saying something!!) They are such amazing series that I'm so sad there aren't any more books to them! Great picks :)

    Here's my FF!

  7. Hopping through. Harry and Twilight for me too! I was too lazy to do all the work for Pottermore. But I'll be so busy the next few months, I probably wouldn't have time to play with it anyway.

  8. Hi, there! I'm a brand new follower, and I have to tell you that I LOVE your blog design!! And I LOVE your content, as well! But what first grabbed me was your combination of images from the Harry Potter and Twilight series!! AWESOME!!! You certainly deserve an award, but I completely understand why you no longer accept them. It IS time-consuming to do all the things you have to do when you accept one.

I like your answer to this question, because these two series happen to be two of my favorite ones. The third is The Lord of the Rings.

The first book in The Twilight Saga was one of my choices for this question. The other one was "Jane Eyre". Both are great favorites of mine.

I now wish I had mentioned LOTR and Harry Potter as well, though. But hey, I'm thinking of starting a series of posts on my favorite books!

    Have a GREAT weekend!! : )

I love getting comments! I'm always checking to see if I have any new comments. It's actually pretty sad how often I check for them really. So if there is anything you want to say about a post of mine, please say it! I want feedback :)

As of lately, I'm making the blog a no-award blog. I love getting them and I'm always honored, but I don't have the time to do all the things that are required of them. Sorry :(
Also, my "reply" button does not seem to be working in my comments on my computer. I have to use a different computer to reply back so if I don't reply, it's not because I'm rude, it's just that I can't.
