Hop and Follow Friday!!

Book Blogger Hop
Book Blogger Hop is hosted over at crazy for books.

This weeks question is: "What are your feelings on losing followers? Have you ever stopped following a blog?"

My answer: It's always a bummer when you look at how many followers you have and see that number has gone down. Makes you kinda wonder what you said that had them so annoyed they stopped following you. Granted that's not always the reason, but still. As for the second part of the question, yes I have stopped following a blog before. Just one actually. I was offended at what the blogger was saying and they never once said a nice thing about a book anyways. They kept saying "well this wasn't a HORRIBLE book, but it still sucked" and it would be something like, I dunno, Harry Potter. I don't like following blogs that are always negative.
There is a challenge this week. I will try to do this. I already have a certain number of blogs that I make sure I visit on a regular basis and I always make sure to comment. Because I LOVE COMMENTS and so I like to leave them as well. Like my subtle hint in there? haha.  Anywho, it should be fun to add another blog to the list.

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee.

This weeks question:
Who are your favorite authors?

My answer:
Oh man, that's a huge list! JK Rowling, Kim Harrison, Jeaniene Frost, Rick Riordan and SOOOO many more! I have a lovely page that has a list of all my favorite authors. It's right at the top of my blog.

As always, please leave me a comment on here if you decide to follow my blog. I want to make sure to follow you back!

PS: Anyone else having trouble commenting on other blogs? Like the blogs that have been recently made? For some reason the newer blogs won't let me comment. Hmm...

  1. Hi, Ariel! Old follower here. Just dropping by from the hop. Ack, I feel you there why you unfollow a blog for that reason.

    Have a nice weekend!

  2. Hopping through. I'm definitely a Rowling fan. What has Jeaniene Frost written?

  3. I'm always a little bummed when I lose followers but make every effort to
turn every lost follower into a learning experience so I can improve my

On the flip side, I only stop following people when they give me a reason to
such as being totally off message or being too controversial in an negative,
    over-the-top way.

    Happy Book Blogger Hop Friday!

    Howard Sherman

  4. Already a follower and just dropping by to say Hello! :)

  5. Always happy to comment a good blog! It is hard to be a good follower, but I do try to dedicate at least an hour a day to going through my blog list and commenting on posts that catch my eye.

If someone leave, then someone leaves - tastes change, you know?

    Happy Hop,
    Linds, bibliophile brouhaha

  6. Hopping by from the book blog hop! I'm a new follower too :)

I couldn't follow a blog that always had something negative to say. That's too much negativity for me! Kind of like when someone gives one star reviews on Amazon and you click their profiles only to see every single review they've given was a one star. It's a little insane!

  7. Just dropping by from the hop! Thanks for following me; I'm here to do the same!

    Have a great weekend!

  8. Happy Blog Hop Friday!

    I'm an old follower!

I have too many fav authors to name...which is a good thing, I guess. :-D

    Have a great weekend!

I love getting comments! I'm always checking to see if I have any new comments. It's actually pretty sad how often I check for them really. So if there is anything you want to say about a post of mine, please say it! I want feedback :)

As of lately, I'm making the blog a no-award blog. I love getting them and I'm always honored, but I don't have the time to do all the things that are required of them. Sorry :(
Also, my "reply" button does not seem to be working in my comments on my computer. I have to use a different computer to reply back so if I don't reply, it's not because I'm rude, it's just that I can't.
