Book themed Tshirt idea

I've always been really big into art and have made lots of hand painted tshirts.

What I've been thinking I want to do lately is make some book themed tshirts. My questions are these...
*If I was to make these tshirts/tote bags/what ever else, would anyone be interested in buying one?
*How much would you be willing to spend on it?
*What books would you like to see have tshirts/tote bags?

I'm thinking about taking small quotes from books, themes, team whoevers, or even just the names of the books.

I'm also thinking of doing shirts for blog names.

Blog Hop and Follow Friday

Follow Friday is hosted by the awesome Parajunkee

This weeks question:
Keeping with the dystopian and apocalypse theme that seems to be running rampant on parajunkee.com, I have one very hard question for you: If you were stocking your bomb shelter, what books would you HAVE to include if you only had space for ten?

My Answer:
*Sigh* what's up with all these sad questions lately? Geesh this was really hard too.
*Harry Potter (all 7)-- I couldn't live without my HP
*The Hollows series by Kim Harrison (All 9 as of now)
*The Twilights (all 4) -- These are feel good books for me.
*Night Huntress (all 7) by Jeaniene Frost
*Paranormalcy by Kiersten White
*Backstage Pass/Rock Hard by Olivia Cunning
*Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare

This list could go on forever. There is no way that if I had a shelter thingy, that I would only make room for ten books. I'd sleep on the books if it meant I had more room for them! Hopefully I would also have my ipod and lots of batteries so I could listen to all my audiobooks as well. That would mean I'd have all these books, plus more.

Review: Wither

Wither by Lauren Destefano
published by Simon and Schuster
Genre: YA
$17. 99 (US hardback)
358 pages

What it's about:
What if you knew exactly when you would die?

Thanks to modern science, every human being has become a ticking genetic time bomb—males only live to age twenty-five, and females only live to age twenty. In this bleak landscape, young girls are kidnapped and forced into polygamous marriages to keep the population from dying out.

When sixteen-year-old Rhine Ellery is taken by the Gatherers to become a bride, she enters a world of wealth and privilege. Despite her husband Linden's genuine love for her, and a tenuous trust among her sister wives, Rhine has one purpose: to escape—to find her twin brother and go home.

But Rhine has more to contend with than losing her freedom. Linden's eccentric father is bent on finding an antidote to the genetic virus that is getting closer to taking his son, even if it means collecting corpses in order to test his experiments. With the help of Gabriel, a servant Rhine is growing dangerously attracted to, Rhine attempts to break free, in the limted time she has left.

My thoughts:
This is a book that is going to stick with me for awhile. The world that Rhine lives in is so sickly fascinating. Knowing that you will die at the age of 20 if you are a female and it will be a painful death at that is horrible. What's even worse is how girls are kidnapped, sold into slavery or as young brides, or killed if they aren't picked. This world is so wrong but so intriguing. It grabs you right from the beginning.

The way that the sister brides come together to help each other is amazing to watch as it grows. How they all become bonded because of the horrible situation they are in even if they do not all feel the same way about it.

I don't want to say too much about this book just because there is not a lot to say about it that will be understood unless you have read the book. This is just a "wow" book that will keep your eyes glued to the pages until you've finished it, and then you'll be wishing you had the next book.

My rating: 10/10!
If I could find a poster of this book cover, I'd buy it. I'm also looking for the audiobook as well. I loved it that much.

Review: Entwined

Entwined by Heather Dixon
Published by Greenwillow books
Genre: YA
$17.99 (US Hardback)
472 pages

What it's about:
Azalea is trapped. Just when she should feel that everything is before her...beautiful gowns, dashing suitors, balls filled with dancing... it's taken away. All of it.
The Keeper understands. he's trapped, too, held for centuries within the walls of the palace. And so he extends an invitation.
Every night, Azalea and ehr eleven sisters may step through the enchanted passage in their room to dance in his silver forest.
But there is a cost.
The Keeper likes to keep things.
Azalea may not realize how tangled she is in his web until it is too late.

My thoughts:
The discription of this book doesn't really tell you at all what the book is about. Azalea and her 11 sisters are all princesses. Their mother has died and the whole house is in mourning for a whole year. No going to parties, no going out at all, no visitors, and no sunlight for a whole year. This also means no dancing which is what the girls live for. So every night, they sneaked into the secret passage way to go dance  until everything goes wrong. That about sums it up. Add in some magic, romance, and a little suspense and you have the book.

I don't know how I really feel about this book. It was cute, and I loved the characters, but it kinda dragged on and I had no idea what I was to expect because the discription was so vague. I do feel as if about 100 pages could have  been cut out of this book and it still would have worked.

On the other hand, I really did adore the characters. I loved how there were 12 children, all of which were girls. They were so close and caotic that I could only imagine how crazy being around them would be. And the King? Loved him! At first I was like geesh, what's up his butt? But then when I figured out he does have a soft, nuggety center, I loved him. He's the big papa bear. Who could blame him for being over protective if you have 12 daughters?

While this book was slow, I did actually like it. I'm glad I read it just because I liked the characters and the last 50 pages were pretty awesome. Azalea is such a funny character. Her and all her anger issues. There were a few things that were not explained very well and I would have liked to have seen gone into more detail, but it's not that important. I'm mostly talking about swearing on silver. Is it anything like the unbreakable promise? What happens if you break it??????

My rating: 8/10

Question: What is on your playlist?

My answer:
I don't really do a normal playlist thing. My ipod is playing the Clockwork Angel audiobook while the cds I listen to in my car are mostly Fall Out Boy (all time favorite band!), Muse, Ke$ha, Adam Lambert, Lady Gaga, Michael Buble, Big Bad Voodoo Daddies, and so on.

This weeks question: "If you find a book you love, do you hunt down other books by the same author?"

My answer:
Yup. If I love the authors writing style, I will always go out and look for other books of theirs. Then get all sad when I run out of their books to read. Then I'll search for authors that are a lot like them. I did that after I read Charlien Harris's books, then found Jeaniene Frost and Kim Harrison. It's a great way to find new authors.
