Just finished reading Insurgent...

OMG! Oh...my...gosh. OH MY GOSH!!!!

I was so excited for this book to be released last night that I pulled a Cartman and paced around the house going "come on....come on!" As seen in this video.

And I read the whole book today.

WOW! Just wow.

I feel like there needs to be a full on discussion of this book and everything that happened in it. If someone knows of a discussion board that is already happening for this book or wants to create one or a chat or something, I'd love to join in.

I still have goosebumps from the ending.

  1. I.. I.. I just finished the book sixty seconds ago. I immediately went on the internet to look for people talking about it.. I have been a diehard fan of this series since divergent cane out. I preordered it and yesterday it was delivered. When I saw what it was I screamed and I couldn't stop and I was flipping out and going INSANE. I was flailing my arms and I was so excited. I needed to start reading right away but my neighbor was over wanting to hang out. So I had to bribe her to go back to her house so I could read it. I read every second I could. Even when I ate dinner I shoved all the food in my mouth and ran back to my room to read. SPOILER COMING FROM NOW ON!!! It was like my I was under simulation of Jeanine and I was was braindead, couldn't get my eyes off the pages. I cried a lot in this one. Too many times to possibly count.. For one, I thought Tobias was a bit of a jerk to Tris in some parts, but of course I love him anyway. In most of anything, I dislike the girl characters, but I actually really love Tris because she is a lot like me. But sometimes I just wanted her to smack him in the face. But I am so ridiculously grateful that they were okay at the end. If the book ended with them being mad at eachother I'd probably smash my window. A few things were a bit oblivious, like I figured Peter would end up doing something good (I BAWLED at that part) and Zeke really not being a traitor. And even Tris not dying, though I am a LITTLE bit gullible so at that part I definitely cried. When it said that the heart monitor stopped I started crying and I flipped the page so fast and almost ripped it. When I saw it saying, but I was still breathing, I dropped the book and tried to calm down. I know that some people think it's just a book, but I feel a real connection with Tris. I NEVER have connections with girl characters. Never have I had one. But Tris is so much like me. So when something happens to her, physically or emotionally, I can't help but break down like it is happening to me also. But anyway. I loved this book. Like, I LOVED it and I am still sitting here practically frozen. I am just so shocked. If you want to talk about specific scenes I will be happy to talk about it. GOSH I AM FREAKING OUT! Sorry, I am just so.. I don't know what I am. I want to cry but I keep telling myself that the trilogy isn't over, so now I just have to wait for the next one! If you are reading this Veronica, START WRITING PLEEEAAASE! :D

  2. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! It was so amazing! I gave it to the third grade teacher today and she did a little hop of excitement. She told me she plans on ignoring her family tonight so she can read :)

I love getting comments! I'm always checking to see if I have any new comments. It's actually pretty sad how often I check for them really. So if there is anything you want to say about a post of mine, please say it! I want feedback :)

As of lately, I'm making the blog a no-award blog. I love getting them and I'm always honored, but I don't have the time to do all the things that are required of them. Sorry :(
Also, my "reply" button does not seem to be working in my comments on my computer. I have to use a different computer to reply back so if I don't reply, it's not because I'm rude, it's just that I can't.
