Random Thought About "Perfect Chemistry"

I've had the book Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles on my shelf for over a year now. I've thought about reading it a few times and then decided nah, didn't feel like reading it. I finally picked it up last night, and let me just say, I'm kicking myself for not reading it sooner. I just finished reading it and let me just say,

I LOVE THIS FREAKING BOOK!!!!

Just thought I'd share this with everyone because I need to get that out of my system.

Anyone else madly in love with this book?

Moving and new books

This week has been pretty crazy and it's about to get even crazier. I'm moving on Monday and holy crap is that a lot of work!

So I told myself I would get rid of some books for the big move. And I did. I got rid of a bag full of books which just about made me cry. I hate giving up my books.

*sigh* so to make myself feel better, I bought more books. I have a serious book problem.

I bought:
Indigo Blues by Danielle Joseph
Take Me There by Carolee Dean
A Hunger Like No Other by Kresley Cole
Pleasure of a Dark Prince by Kresley Cole

And I plan on buying more books this upcoming week. Pale Demon comes out on Tuesday (*FREAKS OUT*), the new Cat and Bones book comes out the same day. I might just have a heart attack from all that excitment. I also plan on getting Demonglass by Rachel Hawkins and Cryers Cross by Lisa McMann sometime soon as well. My excuse will be I need to celebrate getting a new house by buying lots of books.

50% off books sale is dangerous

Borders has decided to test my self control and see if they could tempt me to come in and buy lots of books. First they gave me $10 in Borders bucks, then $5 in borders bucks, then an email with a 50% off anything coupon. Then to make it worse, the black friday adds came along and had a free coffee coupon and another 50% off coupon.

*Sigh* so I couldn't control my spending. I had to go buy lots of books. So in the last two weeks here are the books I've got.

*I Am Number Four by Patticus Lore
*Bloodthirsty by Flynn Meaney
*Enchanted Ivy by Beth Durst
*Low Red Moon by Ivy Devlin
*and a certain book for a certain family member which can't be said on here cause that certain person reads my blog. haha.

And then two weeks ago, Suzanne Selfors sent me a copy of her new book, Mad Love. It has been a pretty good couple of weeks book wise for me!

Sadly I plan on buying more books cause I still have more coupons. Borders knows I have no self control when it comes to books.

Anyone Watch Extreme Makeover?

Anyone watch Extreme Makeover tonight? They were at the Oregon School of the Deaf. Every year OSD does a haunted house and this year Extreme makeover redid the dorms and the Nightmare Factory (the name of the haunted house).

I live less than five minutes away from OSD and my parents have been taking me and my sister to the Nightmare factory since we were little. This year I went with a big group of people because I had to for my ASL class I'm taking. Let me tell you, E.M.O. did a FANTASTIC job redoing the Nightmare Factory. I was so scared the whole time. I ended up bruising my sister's hand cause I was holding on so hard.

They redid the haunted house so well that over 30,000 people have shown up for it. Not surprising cause the night I went the line was over 2 hours long. I got the VIP pass and was able to cut to the front. Yay!

This place is doing so well this year that they have added on a few extra days. It'll be going all next weekend too. so if you live anywhere near Salem Oregon, make sure to go to the Nightmare Factory. It'll scare the pants right off of you, but it'll be worth it.

Yes, that's right, I'm promoting a haunted house. I've recently started taking ASL and adore it, so I'm going to promote the OSD haunted house.
Anywho, Happy Halloween! I'll end this post with a picture of my pumpkin that I carved.

Wizarding World of Harry Potter

I'm back from Florida! It was so amazing at the theme parks. I always love going to Orlando. I'm still trying to get over Jet Lag though.

Entrance to Hogsmead. I got teary eyed the first time I walked through that. I was so excited!

This section of Islands of Adventure is a Harry Potter nerds dream come true. I won't give everything away that they do, but they honestly thought of everything a fan could ever wish to see.

Hogwarts. The coolest ride ever is in there. This is right before the entrance.

I'll give away one spoiler. That's the Monster Book of Monsters. This thing moves around the cage, growling and spitting all over the place. It scared the crap out of a lot of kids when they got close up to it. I couldn't get over how amazing it was!!

If you're going to WWOHP you HAVE to get butterbeer! I bought 3 glasses of it in the days I was there. Sitting at the bar in Hogs Head drinking butterbeer was beyond amazing. My dad is trying to make his own now. hahaha. We'll have to see how that one goes.

I got to be in the audience for Family Feud one day!! It's episodes 123 and 124. There is a new host now as well. Steve Harvey. He was soooo funny! He kept making fun of the dumb answers the families were saying during the commercial breaks. They also had us dancing to some very weird music during the breaks as well. One of which was disco. I think I've used up all my clapping for the rest of my life though. hahaha.

Some other cool stuff that happened on the trip besides all the parks was yesterday coming home. When were were waiting in LAX for our next flight home, Dyland and Cole Sprouse walked right past me. Cole even bumped into me. I was giggling my butt off  (that confused my dad cause he had no idea who they are). Also when I was walking to the bathroom, I bumped into Troian Avery Bellisario!! Yup, she plays Spencer in Pretty Little Liars. She was also in the episode of NCIS I had watched the night before.

This trip was amazing!!!! I bought lots of stuff, saw lots of cool people, did new things. It was great!

Happy Birthday Percy Jackson!

Happy 17th birthday Percy Jackson!

That's right, it's Percy Jackson's birthday today. My sister texted me earlier to remind me. I think the babysitting kids and me will watch the movie to celebrate :)

Free audiobook site

I love to listen to audiobooks. I have tons and tons of them so my dad found a free audiobook download site for me. Most of the books on there are pretty old, but there are some great ones on it. Things like Alice in Wonderland, Pride and Prejudice, and Wizard of Oz. So here you go:

Celebrities read childrens books

My awesome sister found a cool site for me to put on here. It is a site where celebrities read childrens books. Some of the celebrities that read are Elijah Wood, Amanda Bynes, Camryn Manheim, and James Earl Jones.

Here is the site: storylineonline.net
