My Movie Cast: The Hollows

Last night I spent a great deal of time trying to figure out who I would want to play  Trent Kalamack if they ever did a Hollows movie by Kim Harrison. It got me thinking about who else I would want to play in the movie. So here is my list.

Rachelle Lefevre as Rachel

Who else just fell madly in love with her in Twilight and New Moon? I think she'd be a great Rachel. She has the hair already, can do the kick ass thing, yet you just love her. Emma Stone seems to be another popular choice. I also wouldn't complain if she was picked to play Rachel.

Ivy played by Olivia Munn

I honestly don't know who this actress is,  but I think that she has about the right looks to play Ivy. Has some asian in her with the heart shaped face

Trent Kalamack played by Trevor Donovan

*swoon* I love googling pictures of this guy. Haha.

Al played by Jason Isaacs

Johnny Depp is another really popular choice for this role. I wouldn't mind that either. Jason is so good at playing bad guys though. Love him.

Jenks played by Kellan Lutz

You need someone adorable, curly blonde hair, young, and cocky. That spells Kellan Lutz to me.

Ceri played by Dianna Agron

She just fits. Her or AJ Cook.

Kisten played by Matt Bomer

Glenn played by Boris Kodjoe

Minias played by Bill Hader

Nick played by Joseph Gordon Levitt

Newt played by Tilda Swinton

Alice Morgan played by Catherine Keener

Vivian played by Kristen Bell

Who should play Magnus in the MI movie?

So I've been thinking, if Adam Lambert can't play Magnus in the Mortal Instruments movie, then I want Jordan Witzigreuter to play Magnus. While he's not an actor, he's the singer for The Ready Set, I still believe he can act. Just a random thought. I can't seem to get my mind away from the Mortal Instruments lately.

What does everyone else think? Can Jordan play Magnus?

My Mortal Instruments cast

I was stalking Cassandra Clare's website earlier and was going through her FAQ section. Her answers have changed since the last time I was on there (a little over a year ago) and City of Bones is being turned into a movie! This is a series I've been dying for them to turn into a movie. And because I LOVE making my own cast lists, I'm doing one for this movie :)

Alexz Johnson as Clary
I have personally never seen anything Alexz has been in, but she has the right look, especially in this picture. Small, red curly hair, and a pissed off, I'm going to do what I want look on her face.

Alex Pettyfer as Jace
Alex is so Jace. The attitude, the looks, everything. He is Jace. No one else will do.

Michael Cera as Simon
I always pictured Simon looking a lot like Michael. The only problem is Michael now has a type cast and it doesn't really fit Simon's character plus the movie would turn into the Simon show. I think the look is right though.

OR

Kristopher Turner  as Simon
I do not really know who this guy is, but he was in Cassandra Clare's cast list (that the fans picked for her). I agree with this guy as well. He seems to have the right look.






Michael Weatherly as Luke
I always pictured Luke looking like Michael did back in his Dark Angel days. Kinda scruffy, glasses, hott nerdy look.

Ewin Mcgregor as Hodge

This one has no real reason behind it. I just think he'd be a cool Hodge.

Gaspard Ulliel as Alec
I think this guy is gorgeous and would be a great Alec. I seemed to pick the one picture where his hair is not dark brown/blackish but it normally is. Most of the pictures of him this guy has an attitude that shows. He's perfect.

Emily Browning as Isabelle
I think Isabelle will be the hardest person for the casting director to pick. I have a clear vision of how Izzy looks in my head and no one fits it perfectly. Emily Browning comes sort of close, just dye her hair black.

Adam Lambert as Magnus
This is not a real cast pick! Obviously Adam is not an actor, he's a singer, but this is how I imagine Magnus. Tall, skinny, crazy hair, with lots of eye make up, glitter, and outrageous clothes. Sums up Magnus pretty well. I know he's not part Asian but I never pictured Magnus asian.

I was talking to my mom about cast picks, and she had a great one. Jason Isaac as Valentine. I think that would really work. I had also been thinking maybe Simon Baker

Maybe? Can he play a bad guy though?

My Hunger Games Cast

Well I had a lot of fun doing my VA cast pick, so I decided to do one for Hunger Games.

Alexandra Daddario as Katniss

I know she was Annabeth in Percy Jackson, but she is not my Annabeth. She is my Katniss. I think she is absolutely perfect for this role. Gray eyes, dark hair, knows how to fight. She's perfect. She even used a bow and arrow in PJ.

Jeremy Sumpter as Peeta

Everyone seems to want Alex Pettyfer as Peeta, but Alex will always be my Jace Wayland and no one else. Jeremy has the cute boy next door look that you can't help but adore. He is perfect for the sweet and innocent Peeta.

Skandar Keynes as Gale

Gale needs to be tall, skinny, dark hair, a fighter, yet someone who obviously cares a lot about his family. That's Skandar. I don't think any of the cast should be hollywood gorgeous, it just doesn't fit.

Robert Downey Jr as Haymitch

I think this picture says it all.

Elle Fanning as Prim
umm yeah, she just looks right.

Ariel Winter as Rue

This is pretty much how I image Rue looking like. Just with more ringlets and a little shorter hair.

Miranda Richardson as Effie

hahaha oh I think this picture is perfect. Just make the hair pink and that's Effie. If Miranda can't be Effie then I'd go with Kristen Chenowith

Adam Gregory as Finnick

ok ok, I know Finnick isn't in Hunger Games, but I think this guy is perfect for the role. He seems to be someone that people want as Gale too and I can see that as well. He'd actually make a great Gale...

Vampire Academy Movie

Big news you guys! Vampire Academy is being turned into a movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's right, a movie!

I'm a huge fan of these books (and anything Richelle Mead writes actually) and I really hope they do not mess it up.

There is a facebook page already set up for the movie and you can post comments to the producers on there. The producers have asked for people to only post comments on there and not to send them tons of emails about it because they are already bogged down with them. Oh, and the producers are actually reading the page and asking questions of their own. Pretty awesome really.



Now I have a few choice Picks for people I'd like to see cast into the movie.

Logan Lerman as Christian. I'm not just saying this because Logan is one of my biggest celeb crushes, but I really think he would fit. He's tall, skinny, dark hair and can be very cocky but incredibly charming at the same time.



If Logan doesn't work. Then I'd say Tom Felton with dark hair and an american accent would also work.

Ashley Benson as Lissa

From Pretty Little Liar to vampire princess. I think she would work pretty well. She's blonde, she's cute, and she can play sweet but also be a fighter at the same time. That's what's needed for Lissa's character.




Ben Barnes as Dimitri
Umm this is one I'm not too sure about but everyone thinks he's perfect. I love Ben in Prince Caspian and think he has the right look for Dimitri. What I'm not too sure about is if he can pull off the badass vampire killer thing.

Odette Yustman as Rose

I had a really hard time trying to think of who would be a good pick for Rose. Picking who plays her is going to be incredibly hard and I do not envy the casters job to try and pick her. Odette is someone a few people online thought would be a good pick. I think she has the right looks and could work if they could figure out a way to make her look younger.

For Adrian I like either Xavier Samuel or Alex Pettyfer. Yes I know Xavier is from Eclipse but come on, Riley was hardly in it and who cares if he's a twilight actor. But if I remember corectly, Adrian is not in the first book and will not be cast.
