Harry vs Voldemort rap off

AHHH!!!! Today is the Harry Potter midnight showing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited. I'm going to be decking out in harry potter gear and having my friend (who looks a lot like Harry Potter) dress up too. It's his first HP midnight showing so I think he should go all out.

Thought I'd spread the HP love around and share this hilarious harry vs voldemort rap off video. Enjoy!

Also, here are some of my favorite Harry Potter quotes from the books (sorry if they aren't word for word correct. I was too lazy to go look them up).

"I am a wizard, not a baboon brandishing around a wand!" --Prof. Flitwick, HBP

"Why worry about you-know-who when you should be worrying about you-no-poo! It's the constipation sinsation that's gripping the nation!" -- Fred and George, HBP

"Do not pity the dead. Pity the living, and above all, those who live without love" --Albus Dumblore, Deathly Hallows

New Harry Potter posters

Is everyone else really enjoying all the new Harry Potter posters that are coming out? It seems like every day the HP movie fanpage on Facebook is posting links to new posters. I can't wait to get my hands on some of these posters.

Just in case everyone hasn't seen them, here they are along with links.

Mugglenet has two new posters that are pretty awesome. One is Snape and one is

Voldemort. Link: The Hunt Begins

7 new ones of just the characters faces. (I'm dying to get my hands on that Harry poster!!) Link: Gah!!

There are 4 posters in this link. All of which are amazing. Link: Nowhere is safe

And these are my sister's personal favorites. Dan, Rupert, and Emma did posters for the library. Link to view FB of them: READ    Link: link to buy

If you haven't "liked" the HP movie page yet, you should! They post lots of great stuff there. Right now they have tons of new pictures from the upcoming movies. My favorite is the 7 Harry's picture. Why are some of them wearing skirts?? haha

Top 5 favorite Universal Studios characters

I'm going to be spending lots of time at both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure this week. Thought I'd post about my favorite characters from both those parks. (Harry Potter casts will not be included. It's too obvious).

Spiderman:
He's my favorite comicbook guy. Right up there with Batman. He's a nerd and I love nerds!!

The Simpsons:
Who doesn't love the Simpsons? What's even cooler is the creater is from Oregon! Yup. My home state. Lots of the character names and places come from Oregon things. Way too cool.

Rick O'Connell from the Mummy
I adore this movie. Rick is such a fun character. He's funny, hott, smart, tough, and sweet all in one. Awesome!

The Cat in the Hat
I used to read this to my babysitting kids all the time. I like doing the voices for the book. It's fun.

Popeye
This guy cracks me up. Best reason to love a cartoon.

Top 5 favorite Disney Characters

Because I'm in Disney World this week, I've decided to try and decide who are my top five favorite Disney characters. This was really hard but I finally decided and here they are!

Donald Duck:
Ohhh how I love Donald duck!! Me and Donald have lots in common. We have both had speech problems, we both have short tempers, and I tend to be friends with goofy people too. Donald will always be my favorite Disney character

Roger Rabbit:
He is so adorable. How can you not love him? "Dear Jessica, how I love thee. Let me count the ways. 1 1,000. 2 1,000. 3 1,000"

Cheshire Cat:

I love this guy so much I have a tattoo of him. He's crazy, he's awkward, he stands on his head. Yet he always shows up when you need him. Awww.

Aladdin:

He's my favorite Disney "prince." He's so sweet! I just want to give him a hug and make everything better for him.

Winnie the Pooh:

Fluffy!! Winnie the Pooh is the best.

It was so hard to pick just five. Here are others I debated over.

Mulan

Snow White

Peter Pan

Goofy

Suzanne Collins tour dates plus fun games

I've been stalking my favorite authors websites lately, and I knew Suzanne Collins was going to be doing signings somwhere near me soon but didn't know when. She's finally posted her tour dates! I was right, there are 3 signings she's going to be doing that are only a 4 hour drive from my house!! Plus they are on a friday and saturday so it's even better! Check to see if she's coming anywhere near you.

Here is the link: Suzanne Collins tour dates!

**Side Note**
That direct link sometimes doesn't work cause Scholastics is weird that way with their urls. So if you get the original link (http://scholastic.com/thehungergames/about-the-author.htm) and put it into Google, you can get to the page that way. It's what I had to do.

I would highly recommend that you play the games that is in that link. There are two of them, Trial by Fire, and Tribute Trials. Both are a lot of fun (even if I keep dying!) I spent wayyyy too much time playing those games.
