I'm having a hard time if I liked this book or not. To describe the father as "controlling" was a little too vague. Abusive would have fit better. This is the main problem with the book. It was very heavy and I didn't like most of the characters in the books. They were constantly making the wrong choices. Terra drove me a little crazy and how she was thinking Erik was the best she could do. I'm complaining about this book a lot, but it did catch my attention. I was having some issues putting it down cause I needed to know that Terra was going to stop being so stupid with her choices. Once you get past the depressing beginning of the book and make it to part two, it gets hard to put down.

The coolest thing about this book is the geocaching! Always interesting.

I Heart You, You Haunt Me

At first I was hesitant to pick up "I Heart You, You Haunt Me" by Lisa Schroeder. I had read reviews for it and everyone said that they cried a lot during this book. I tend to cry more than normal anyways when it comes to movies or books, so I didn't know if I wanted to read a book that will make me cry. I'm glad that I didn't let some crying stop me from reading the book.

The book starts out with the funeral of Ava's boyfriend, Jackson. Ava blames herself for the death of Jackson and is trying to find a way to over come her grief and guilt. One day while looking in the bathroom mirror, she sees Jackson. Jackson and Ava learn to communicate by music, temperature changes, in dreams, and if concentrating enough, even hearing each other in their thoughts. Now that Ava has found Jackson again, will she ever be able to let him go?

This book grabbed me from page one and by page two I was already crying. I pretty much cried for the whole hour that it took me to read the book. Having the book be in verse made it even better. It gives the reader enough detail to let us follow the story but not enough to drag it down or make it seem like Ava was complaining throughout the whole book.

"I Heart You, You Haunt Me" was simple, sweet, and beautiful. I would recomend this book to anyone who has ever lost someone they love.

First Blog

This is my first blog on here! yay! it is about 1am in the morning, so the blog is going to stay plan and boring for awhile until I have more time to figure out how to use blogspot and make it all pretty and more like me.

I am mostly going to use this blog to review many of the books I have read. This is going to take me a while because I have read a lot of books this summer. I'm going to have a lot of stuff going on coming up soon, so I hope I can keep up with the blogs and the reading I want to do for fun. Reading only textbooks is uber boring.

First book I'm going to review is "I heart you, You haunt me" by Lisa Schroeder.
