Hop and Follow Friday!

Book Blogger Hop
Blogger hop friday is hosted by Crazy For Books

This weeks question:
"Since today is April Fool's Day in the USA, what is the best prank you have ever played on someone OR that someone has played on you?"

My Answer:
I'm not the pranking type of person. I can't think of a single prank I've done to someone. Someone back in high school got  a hold of my email address and home address and signed me up for this pregnancy website. The website called my house to tell me congrats about being pregnant but my parents picked up the phone (later they called to congradulate me on having the baby). The site also sent me free cans of baby food, coupons for Disney movies and Dr. Seuss books and more. Jokes on whoever signed me up. My parents thought it was hilarious cause they obviously knew I wasn't pregnant and I had a friend with a baby so I gave her the baby food. It all worked out.
I never did figure out who signed me up. It wasn't a close friend or a close enemy. They obviously didn't really know how me and my family work.

This weeks question:
What is the book that you really don't want to admit to loving??

My answer:
None. I think it's weird when people are embarrassed by what they read. I know lots of people that won't admit to reading romance books. Wtf? What's so bad about romance books?

  1. Hi! I found you via Follow Friday. Funny you should mention that, since I admitted to reading a specific romance author. I actually don't think there's anything wrong with reading romance novels. I just don't like to admit that I do sometimes. It's a tomboy thing for me. I've always been a bit of a tomboy and have always hated to admit to anything somewhat girly. It's something I've been working on for years now.

  2. Hey, new follower here! I'm the same, I find it strange that you would be ashamed of a book that you love. But oh well, happy reading! :D

  3. I totally agree with you about the romance novels...those people who are all pretentious and snobby about romance novels need to get over themselves! New follower!

  8. That's actually a pretty horrid prank for someone to pull! What if things were different with your parents or they did it to another girl whose situation was different. That's a mean nasty prank.

I'm a jokester but there's 3 rules: No Harm, No Hurt, No Humiliation!

I love getting comments! I'm always checking to see if I have any new comments. It's actually pretty sad how often I check for them really. So if there is anything you want to say about a post of mine, please say it! I want feedback :)

As of lately, I'm making the blog a no-award blog. I love getting them and I'm always honored, but I don't have the time to do all the things that are required of them. Sorry :(
Also, my "reply" button does not seem to be working in my comments on my computer. I have to use a different computer to reply back so if I don't reply, it's not because I'm rude, it's just that I can't.
